As I recall, there used to be none in the entire state of Vermont. There are now three, according to the Starfucks website. For comparison purposes, there are 4 in New Hampshire, 7 in Wyoming, 6 each in North and South Dakota, and 1509 in California.
Also, there are 9 in Rhode Island and 47 in DC (which is 1/17th the size).
