Darwin's tortoise passes on
I'm sad to report that Harriet, believed to have been one of three tortoises taken from the Galapagos Islands by Darwin on his historic 1835 voyage aboard HMS Beagle, has died at the ripe old age of 176.
It is no longer June.

I love when newspaper writers are instructed by their editors to explain things, but feel really stupid explaining them, and thus come up with very amusing explanations.

Socks went to the doctor today. They weighed her: 21.8 pounds. The vet wants to put her on Atkins. I swear to God.
